True Men Collective
An online group where men meet themselves and each other.
A space for honest conversation
’True Men Collective’ is a facilitated online group for men who want to talk about real life. No performance. No quick fixes. Just grounded conversation, reflection and connection with other men who value honesty and growth. True men, being true to themselves and others.
How it works
Simple structure. Strong container
A clear opening, check-in and closing each week
A topic prompt to focus the conversation
Small-group breakout time when helpful for deeper sharing
Honest check-ins for those wishing to speak (no pressure -your presence alone is okay)
Guest speakers offering practical insight and lived experience when possible
Respectful ground rules to keep everyone safe, heard, and included
Camera on or off for privacy (encouraged on for connection and transparency)
Alias names allowed if preferred
Not therapy, but a facilitated collective for open, respectful conversation
Not preachy, not for the host to teach and not for participants to lecture others
Confidential, inclusive and grounded in mutual respect
The Facilitator
Kaz Hazelwood BSc.(Hons) Dip. Psych Dip. Couns MNCPS (Accred) ICF, ASC, EMCC
Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor | Certified ADHD Coach | Accredited Executive Coach | Ecotherapist | Champion for Men’s & Neurodiverse Mental Health
Kaz is a counsellor, psychotherapist, ADHD and executive coach and group facilitator. She is also a champion for men’s and neurodivers mental health. Her approach is practical, relational and down to earth. She brings experience in men’s therapy, somatic and creative work, and invites outside speakers to broaden the conversation when possible. She will introduce the topics with insights and open questions and the rest is over to you. She will facilitate by asking thought-provoking questions and keeping the conversation moving.
Who this is for?
For men who want depth without drama
This is for men who are curious about themselves, who want to speak plainly, listen well and connect with other men in a discussion forum. You might be navigating work pressure, relationships, fatherhood, midlife shifts, neurodivergence or the question of what a good life looks like now.
You do not need experience of men’s groups
Bring yourself as you are. Quiet is welcome. Honesty is encouraged.
What the group is not
Not therapy. Not a fix
True Men Collective is therapeutic but it isn’t therapy, a diagnosis or crisis support. It is a facilitated space for conversation, reflection and community. If you need clinical or urgent support, you can contact me directly at steppingout.life@gmail.com to book an appointment to discuss your needs.

Why is there a fee? Unlike many online support groups, this isn’t a charity or donation-based space. For now, you’re in the hands of a qualified and insured psychotherapist and coach, bringing extensive training and genuine care for your wellbeing. If the group grows, there may be scope to explore a funded model in the future, who knows? but for now the small fee simply hopefully reflects the value of what you’ll gain from each session.
No selling: This is not a group with the intention of selling courses or other services. If guest speakers are invited, they will be permitted to point you to useful resources and their websites, but this isn’t a platform for deliberate profit-making activities. All resources are appropriate for the session. You will not be asked to pay for speakers or anything else on top of the weekly fee.
Booking: Secure online booking and payment system, allowing you to cancel up to 24 hours before the session for a full refund.
What to bring: A quiet private space and your honest self. You will need a laptop with a camera and a microphone.
Minimum of 5 participants for the session to run - I will notify you by 7pm the night before, if the session is cancelled the next day due to low numbers of unforseeable circumstances and if it is, you will receive a full refund.
Confidentiality
The sessions will not be recorded in any way, either by video or AI note taking or Zoom summary creation. All names and email addresses will be kept confidential and not shared with any 3rd party. If you would like to remain anonymous, please change your Zoom name on screen and do not start your camera. I am hoping you will begin to feel more confident as time goes on to use your camera and share your views, but there will be no pressure from me or the group to do so.
