Therapy

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” - Carl Rogers, Psychologist

During our sessions, we will explore your unique connection between mind, body, feelings, thoughts, emotions and your environment, unraveling stuckness and revealing important insights, which will allow you to develop your own solutions and progress led by you.

I am an predominantly person-centred integrative therapist, which means the sessions are led by you and I incorporate different theories and practical elements into our sessions, including activities and other approaches such as:

  • Transactional analysis - looking at relationships

  • Attachment and Psychodynamic theories - exploring childhood and other life stage influences

  • Gestalt - working with feelings in the here and now

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) - looking at alternative patterns of thinking and behaviour.

  • Creative Activities using pens, paper, figures, a sand tray and nesting dolls etc.
